In this edition of Utah Thrives, we’ll hear from a Steve Dimond, a school district administrator responsible for hiring teachers in an increasingly competitive environment. We’ll also hear from Utah Foundation Vice President and Research Director Shawn Teigen on growing disparities between urban and rural school districts in Utah, from Jason Brown of Envision Utah on its recent proposal for increasing overall compensation for teachers, and from former State Senator Howard Stephenson on his efforts to help school districts achieve better equity in their local funding.
