Art Turner to become new Utah Foundation Chair

Today, the Utah Foundation announces its new board leadership for 2022. Current Chair Chad Westover, CEO of University of Utah Health Plans, has completed his term and will remain on the Executive Board as Immediate Past Chair. Vice Chair Dan Eldredge is retiring from his position as General Manager with the Intermountain Power Agency and is departing Utah Foundation’s board. The new officers are:

  • Art Turner, Vice President/Gen. Manager of Enterprise Holdings, will serve as Chair starting in 2022. He previously served as Treasurer.
  • Annalisa Holcombe, President of Western Governors University Advancement, will serve as Vice Chair. She previously served as Fund-Raising Chair.
  • Scott Parson, President of CRH Americas Materials West, to serve as Treasurer.
  • Kelly Mendenhall, Director of Regulatory and Pricing for Dominion Energy, will serve as Secretary.

Utah Foundation President Peter Reichard expressed his gratitude to the outgoing leaders and the incoming officers. “We’re so privileged to have such a strong group of civic leaders in place for 2022,” Reichard said. “And as Chair, Art will bring great people skills, a broad range of experience and a powerful enthusiasm for addressing the issues facing Utahns.”

Art Turner thanked Mr. Westover and Mr. Eldredge for their leadership. “I’m honored to take the baton from Chad, who has been such an important part of our success in recent years,” he said. “We wish our friend Dan all the very best. We appreciate his years of dedication to the Utah Foundation. His cheerful leadership will be missed.”
