Join Utah Foundation for a policy discussion on solutions to Utah’s persistent air quality issues. We’ll meet at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20th in the Founders Room on the 18th Floor of the Zions Bank building at 1 South Main in Salt Lake City. (There’s no charge to attend and a continental breakfast is included.)
Our speakers include Dr. Kerry Kelly, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah and a past member of Utah’s Air Quality Board, Bryce Bird, executive director of the Utah Division of Air Quality, Jessica Reimer of HEAL Utah and Lee Peacock from the Utah Petroleum Association. Max Roth, reporter/anchor from Fox 13 News, will moderate the discussion.
What’s been done so far that’s made an impact on Utah’s urban air quality? What can we look forward to in the next few years that could help alleviate the problem? What challenges still lie ahead? Please join us for this important conversation.
Our thanks to UTA for its generous sponsorship of this event. Thanks also to our food sponsor, Magnum Development.
