Candidates02

Don’t miss your first opportunity to see all four major party candidates for Governor of Utah offering their competing visions for Utah’s future. Since 2004, Utah Foundation has conducted the Utah Priorities Project in years with a gubernatorial election. With the help of Dan Jones & Associates, we’ve surveyed Utah voters statewide, asking about the issues they see as most important. Based on their responses, we rank the top ten issues and then ask the candidates for governor to respond.

We’ll release the results of the survey at a luncheon on March 24th. Then, four candidates for governor will offer their thoughts on the issues and their priorities. Two Republicans, incumbent Governor Gary Herbert and Overstock.com chair Jonathan Johnson will join us, along with two Democrats, Zyto Technologies CEO Vaughn Cook and CHG Healthcare Chair Mike Weinholtz.

The candidates’ responses to these issues will set the tone for the campaign going forward. You’ll want to be there. The luncheon in the Capital Ballroom at the City Center Marriott is $60 for Utah Foundation members and $75 for non-members. Tables of ten are available for $600. Corporate sponsorships and sponsored tables are also available. We’ll have complimentary self-parking for attendees. Here’s the link to register.
