Report finds Utah students lag behind those in peer states

Utah students lag far behind in reading, math and science test scores, according to a new local study that compares Utah students with those in states that have similar demographics.

\r\n The Utah Foundation, a public policy organization, conducted the research and authored the report, which is the first of its kind in examining how Utah compares to peer states, said Steve Kroes, foundation president.
